Founder of Tour Pacific
Bringing Oceania to Sweden!
With two empty hands, no clients and no suppliers, Lars started a company that got the name Tour Pacific in 1993. The business idea was to bring Swedish tourists to the South Pacific, New Zealand and Australia. Being the leading Australia specialist back then, Lars ventured out to the youth market when he started Work & Travel Company Sweden in 2001. This company merged with GoXplore Norway in 2009 and was later sold. Lars now focussed on the luxury end of the market and in 2010 Indian ocean was introduced in the Tour Pacific portfolio. The company survived the pandemic and was purchased by Intoit Travel Group in 2026, 33 years after Lars started it.
